The primary story line of the game is that you're a young girl named Alice who lives in an England haunted by the ghosts of the past. 1 day, she meets a gentleman called Charles and falls in love with him. Alice can either save him or lose him forever. And as you do this, you find yourself in a number of different situations, as well.
The storyline has a lot of different components, although they are connected together through a number of interwoven stories. Some of these stories involve your quest to save the king's pursuit to rescue himself out of his rival, Queen Catherine. Another narrative focuses on a relationship between two distinct characters. In choices stories you play update the end, there is a final narrative that involves your own personal narrative. This last part of the sport is known as the Endless Fall, which involves you after a timeline which leads to your death. But since the game takes place over the course of two decades, there is no way for you to actually reach there, but it is possible to look at the game in a journal and see your own progress.
In the Hearts Stories you perform, you have to choose between two very different endings. The first one, called the authentic Ending, is the path which permits you to rescue the King Henry from their troubles. However, when you fail in this job, you can't come back to the past and make a choice later on. Rather, the choice you make will always remain in your present. However, should you end up achievement, then you'll pay a visit to the past and select the other ending. The main reason Alice does not create a choice in her time is because she did, she could be trapped inside the domain of the game and also be forced to undergo her own tragedy.
However, the other option, called the False Ending, permits you to continue on with your daily life, but the past will remain shut for you. You can, however, continue to visit the past by seeing the events as they happen and playing them out in the game. After a while, you will learn about the various events that led up to the final outcome of the narrative, however, you can never affect any of these. The False Ending lets you do this. It would seem that Alice was intended to escape the realm and go back to the present, but you can not, so she must find a way to get past this barrier and return to the present so as to complete your journey. But after a certain amount of time, you will find out that you must also face a series of trials.
